Lagos Island East Local Council Development Area has flagged off a six-day youth empowerment programme initiated by Razak Qudus of EKOMII Initiative.
The empowerment programme is aimed at ensuring that youths in the LCDA contribute their quota to the development of the area, the state and country as a whole.
Youths will be trained in many vocation which includes soap making, liquid wash production, starch production amongst others.
The occasion was graced by Secretary Local Government of Lagos Island East Local Council Development Area, Lagos, Hon. Abubakar Lawal, the council’s deputy Executive Secretary, Hon. Idayat Anifowoshe.
Others at the event were the wife of the Council’s Executive Secretary, Mrs. Kafilat Omotoso; All Progressive Congress chairman in the LCDA, Alhaji Salawe, the Council’s Legal Officer, Barrister Abidemi Jimoh and Razak Qudus.
