Weis Markets updating safety policies after Gov. Wolf"s new mask mandate

JANELLE: WEIS MARKET IS IMPLEMENTING NEW SAFETY POLICIES IN ITS STORES. BEGINNING MONDAY TO WEAR A FACE COVERING AS THE GOVERNOR ORDERED. CUSTOMERS WHO ARE NOT WEARING MASKS WILL BE TURNED AWAY PER STATE MANDATE BUT MOST LOCATIONS WILL OFFER ONLINE ORDERING WITH PICKUP OR DELIVERY. WEIS WILL ALSO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF CUSTOMERS AT ANY ONE TIME TO 50% OF MAXIMUM CAPACITY. BEGINNING TUESDAY THE HOUR OF , APRIL 21, 6:00 A.M. TO 7:00

Weis Markets is implementing new safety policies in its stores.Starting Monday, April 20, all customers are required to wear a face mask. According to a media statement issued by Weis, any customer who is not wearing a mask will be turned away per the state mandate. Weis will also limit the number of customers in the stores to 50% of its maximum capacity. Beginning Tuesday, April 21, 6 to 7 a.m. the stores will be open to high-risk and senior customers only. Most Weis Markets locations will continue to offer online ordering with pickup or delivery options.



Weis Markets is implementing new safety policies in its stores.
