Manchester United have reportedly been given a boost in their chase for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Premier League giants have been big admirers of the Senegal international after he has impressed at the heart of the Napoli defence.
And Koulibaly could be on his way out as the Serie A outfit are targeting Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti as his replacement, according to SPORT.

The Napoli hierarchy have reportedly contacted the LaLiga giants to sound out a move for the centre back.
Umtiti has been at Barcelona since the summer of 2016 and his current deal at the club does not expire until June 2023.
Napoli’s Koulibaly is on the radar of a number of top clubs across Europe, United included, after cementing himself as a pivotal figure since his arrival from Genk in 2014.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate to make additions to his United side as he looks to return them to the top of the Premier League.
Koulibaly has reportedly already told Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis that he would be willing to leave this summer if the right offer came up.
Like Umtiti, Koulibaly’s contract at his current club does not run out until June 2023.
