RIGHT AND RON
Cristiano Ronaldo has been slammed for training on a football pitch by a rival club.
Lazio’s director of communications Arturo Diaconale said: “The impression I have is that there is some favouritism.
“I am referring to the clubs to which their players are allowed to travel abroad, who will now return and do a quarantine period to return to training at the same time as those of Lazio.
“The difference is that we followed the rules and stayed at home, unlike others.
“I’ve seen videos from Portugal showing some marvellous images of Cristiano Ronaldo training out on a football pitch.
“Others have been able to train in peace abroad without restrictions, while we are not allowed to do the same in Italy.”

RED ROSSI
According to Sky Sports Italia, Daniele De Rossi has revealed he would have LOVED to play for United during his career.
The Roma legend, 36, who retired recently after a failed stint with Boca Juniors, has told of his one-time dream to play at Old Trafford.
He said: “Since I was a child I have loved United.
“It was the right choice that I didn’t go to Manchester because there was Keane and Scholes, incredible players.
“It was really my desire to go to Boca Juniors.
“I never chose to leave Roma, but I felt like a god at Boca.”

DUTCH COURAGE
United legend Jaap Stam is reportedly wanted by FC Cincinnati to become their new boss despite MLS suspension due to coronavirus.
In October the Dutchman, 47, stepped down from his last position as Feyenoord boss after just seven months at the helm.
With just two games played in the top flight before the season was KO’d indefinitely by coronavirus, Cincinnati had suffered two losses on the bounce in the Eastern Conference, putting them third from bottom on the table.
The American outfit have been on the hunt for a new manager after former boss Ron Jans, resigned midway through February after allegedly using a racial slur in the dressing room.
According to The Athletic, Cincinnati have identified former Red Devils and Holland centre-back Staam, and LA Galaxy assistant Dominic Kinnear as potential candidates.

YOU’VE GOT SOME BOTTLE
United fans seem desperate to land Jadon Sancho with some searching for clues he’s joining in his every move.
But even by football fans’ standards the latest “hint” that he is Old Trafford-bound, which consisted of him sipping water, was a bit of a stretch.
And after taking part in an Instagram Live Q&A session last night, some particularly hopeful United fans are convinced the move is going to happen.
Sancho was answering questions from his 3.9m Instagram followers when one wrote: “Sip water if you’re joining United.”
And after appearing to consider his actions, the Englishman took a huge gulp from his bottle.
One United fan quickly tweeted: “IT’S HAPPENING!” while another wrote: “It was always on the cards.”

AP-PAULED
Paul Pogba says he quit United in 2012 because he was angry at Sir Alex Ferguson not playing him.
It was always assumed that Pogba left over a contract dispute.
Juventus were offering him £30,000 a week which was twice what United had on the table.
But the club record buy has revealed to ‘The Official Manchester United Podcast’ he believed he deserved to be in the United starting XI and Sir Alex didn’t.
Pogba, 27, said: “My brother, the United fan, told me he was really angry – even more than me – when I didn’t play.
“He told me: No, go. You can play in this team. If they don’t want you here, go somewhere else. They will see.’”
