TOP-EARNING OWNERS
Newcastle United’s incoming Saudi supremos will become the Premier League’s richest owners once their Toon takeover is completed, eclipsing the Glazers and even Manchester City’s owners.
The £300million deal is gathering pace, with the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund having paid current owner Mike Ashley a deposit.

CROCK & AWE
Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele is reportedly interesting United and Arsenal but a bid is being held back by injury concerns.
Despite costing an initial £92million back in 2017, Dembele is said to be among those available for the right fee.
For that price, a return of just 19 goals in 72 games across almost three full seasons has led to the Frenchman being labelled a serious flop.
Nevertheless, at 22 he still holds plenty of potential and Spanish newspaper Sport detail how United and Arsenal are weighing up an offer.
Both clubs are reportedly investigating Dembele’s rocky injury history to determine whether it is down to bad luck, Barcelona’s mismanagement, or a more deep-rooted problem affecting the player, who has missed 26 games this season.
Hamstring injuries have become a common problem for the forward and, following surgery, he is expected to miss the rest of the season even though it is to last further into the summer due to the coronavirus pandemic.

ALEXIT
Alexis Sanchez has made a secret return to Chile to bunker down in his luxury new home overlooking its capital city.
The on-loan Manchester United striker has spent the last fortnight in South America after jetting from northern Italy on April 3.
He was granted permission from Inter Milan, who he is due to leave at the end of the season to return to Old Trafford.
It is not known if United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was consulted.
A Chile Football Federation Association source quoted by newspaper El Mercurio said the national side’s coach Reinaldo Rueda was one of the few people outside of the Inter set-up and his family and friends made aware of the trip.
The source said: “Reinaldo is in permanent contact with his players and in this sense, Alexis is no exception.
“Obviously he couldn’t be given any training schedules because he’s under the control of his club and not the national side.”

England is, surprisingly, the fourth-highest exporter of football talent in the world.
That is despite having the strongest domestic league on the planet, in the Premier League and will surely raise eyebrows in the UK.
