Kroger setting up drive-thru testing for coronavirus in Kentucky
Gov. Beshear announced Sunday that the state will partner with Kroger to start drive-thru testing for the coronavirus. The Kroger location to have this drive-thru testing will be in Frankort. The testing site will be open starting tomorrow. The hours for the testing site will be 10 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. Kroger will provide medical personal who are working at these sites with PPE and a sign-up portal. The governor said that he hopes to announce more Kroger testing sites in the coming weeks. With this coronavirus drive-thru testing, it could test about 20,000 people in five weeks. The people who will be eligible for the drive-thru testing are healthcare workers, first responders and people 65 and older with chronic medical conditions.
