Adama Traore’s agent has refused to rule out a summer transfer amid claims that Liverpool could launch a £70m bid.
The Wolves winger has enjoyed a stunning season under Nuno Espirito Santo, developing into one of the most dangerous players in the top flight.
That form has meant some of the biggest teams in world football have been linked with the 24-year-old.
The Spaniard has recently claimed that he would consider a return to Spain, with either his old team Barcelona or arch rivals Real Madrid.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has also been credited with an interest, with claims he could be a £70m target when the window finally opens.
He has been touted as a possible replacement for Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah, should either leave Anfield this summer.
And Traore’s agent Rodri Baster, speaking to EFE (via Sport Witness), has claimed that a number of teams would have been in the market for him, with hopes that the COVID-19 outbreak won’t affect a potential transfer.
Baster said: “I can’t talk about contractual situations because it’s a private matter, but Adama was having a good season, and with his age, conditions and the fact he’s a very appealing player, there would have been a market for him, no doubt about it.
“We have to hope for the situation to normalise itself and hope that it won’t affect him this summer”.
