Rangers legend Ally McCoist admits he has “a concern” about Celtic winning 10-in-a-row.

The Hoops were 13 points clear at the top of the Premiership when football ground to a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic.

An SPFL resolution could see them crowned champions based on the table as it stands, and Rangers ‘ all-time top goalscorer admits he’s getting nervous about the prospect of 10 titles in a row.

McCoist said on TalkSPORT: “I would be telling you a lie if I didn’t say it wasn’t a disappointment or a real concern or a worry.

“But this league is bizarre and you know what it’s like, particularly in Scotland, it’s worse than anywhere else.

“Because there will be an element, if Celtic are given the title, they’ll feel it’s unfair and unjust.

“But like I’ve said, you’re not going to please everybody. Nobody is going to be pleased with some of the decisions that have to be made.

“I’d not like to be in the shoes of the people that have got to make these decisions. Whether Celtic are given the title or not, whether Liverpool are given the title or not, it remains to be seen.

“But in terms of 10 in a row, of course it’s a concern. I’d be lying to you if I said it wouldn’t be.”
