Jose Mourinho has been spotted on a walk with his backroom staff after the Tottenham boss temporarily left his family home.

The Spurs manager was pictured on Saturday taking a stroll near to Tottenham’s training base – where he has been residing since before March 31.

He was joined by goalkeeping coach Nuno Santos and tactical analyst Ricardo Formosinho.

The trio were not adhering to social distancing guidelines, as all three are believed to be living under the same roof.

Mourinho was given a stern warning by Tottenham chiefs earlier this month, with players and staff reminded of their responsibilities a little over a week ago.

The Portuguese coach was criticised for breaking government isolation guidelines by holding a training session on Hadley Common for midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

Tottenham stars Ryan Sessegnon and Japhet Tanganga were also pictured out in public running side-by-side together.

A spokesman for Spurs said at the time: “All of our players have been reminded to respect social distancing when exercising outdoors. We shall continue to reinforce this message.”

It was well-documented that Mourinho had slept at Spurs’ training HQ in Enfield on the night he had been appointed the club’s manager.

The base houses its own accommodation, known as The Lodge, which is available to players and staff if they wish to stay overnight.

It contains 40 en-suite rooms, a high-quality gym, yoga studio and a hydrotherapy spa, as well as a living area for meetings.

Mourinho owns a six-bedroom house in Belgravia, which he shares with his wife Matilde and their two children.

It is not the first time Mourinho has lived apart from them however, having spent his entire Man Utd tenure in the Lowry Hotel in Manchester, while his family remained in London.

The 57-year-old has been keeping in regular contact with his Tottenham players via video link, hosting virtual training sessions daily.

Given there is little sign of Tottenham returning to action anytime soon, Mourinho will be able to use the free time to plan his moves in the transfer market.

Spurs’ finances are set to take a huge hit as a result of the economic crisis, though Mourinho is likely to still have his eye on several players to bolster his squad.

He has no interest in Atalanta’s Italy keeper Pierluigi Gollini though, despite reports in Italy.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a potential move to Tottenham as a potential successor to Hugo Lloris.

But it is understood there is no interest from Spurs or Mourinho in the keeper who is a former Manchester United youngster.

Gollini was sold to Atalanta from Aston Villa two years ago and broke into the Italy national team last year. But Tottenham are not looking at him as a target.
