Manchester United centre-back Harry Maguire believes his side have the ability to challenge for major honours in the next few years.
After a shaky start to the season United improved massively in the weeks before football was suspended, and were on a run of 11 consecutive games unbeaten.
Maguire – who was made captain by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in January after Ashley Young joined Inter Milan – thinks the team are heading in the right direction, and should not be content to simply challenge for a Champions League place in the future.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the 27-year-old said: “I think you can see from the start of the season we look a lot more like a team and we can probably see where we want to go and where we want to head.
