TOP flops Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are outpunching icons like Manny Pacquiao, Gennady Golovkin, Serena Williams and Tom Brady.in the Forbes sporting rich-list.

Manchester United striker Sanchez and Arsenal playmaker Ozil, both 30, are also well ahead of Atletico Madrid’s £100million-rated Antoine Griezmann, Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale and Liverpool’s Champions League winner Mo Salah.

Ex-Arsenal hero Sanchez will try to console himself with annual earnings of £24m if United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer boots him out this summer.

And Ozil is just four places adrift of his former club-mate, scooping £23.7m as the world’s 57th highest-paid sportsperson.

Chilean Sanchez’s wages or £22.25m ecliipse Ozil’s record Arsenal package of £18.6m.

But the German dramatically narrowed the gap between them with endorsement earnings of £5.1m compared to £2m for Sanchez.

CESC FABREGAS has given a Twitter troll both barrels after he ridiculed his career achievements.

The Arsenal legend posted a photo of 12 shirts from his career and asked his followers which one gave them the best memories.

Clearly a disgruntled Gunners’ fan, Marcos Breton called out the former Chelsea midfielder.

He tweeted: “The one where you @Arsenal captain. You traded that to sit on the bench at @FCBarcelona.”

However, Spain World Cup winner Fabregas replied: “I started in 121 games out of the 151 I played… “I won 6 tittles (sic), I scored in 2 finals, won a league of 100 points having played 36 games, 43 goals and 47 assists…but yeah, cool.”

ARSENAL have agreed terms with Belgium winger Yannick Carrasco.

The former Atletico Madrid star, 25, is desperate to quit Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang and fancies playing in the Premier League.

Now Sport Mediaset say Carrasco is close to getting the move to the Emirates that nearly came off for him in January.

And while on international duty, he told Belgian website Nieuwsblad: “There is now an offer on the table and the negotiations with my agent are progressing well.

“I am the most important player in the club, but I hope the chairman understands me.

“From a family point of view, I would rather play in Europe and stay closer to my family.

“The adjustment for my family was also difficult over there – my wish now is to return.”

Arsenal are yet to agree a fee with Dalian who are sticking to their £25million valuation.
