Arsenal legend David Seaman has urged Stan Kroenke to back Unai Emery in the transfer window to halt their decline.
The Gunners will be without Champions League football next season after missing out on the Premier League top four and being thrashed 4-1 by Chelsea in the Europa League final.
It means Emery is set to have to work on a tight budget this summer as club officials impose strict financial constraints without the benefit of the lucrative money that comes with being in Europe’s elite competition.
But former goalkeeper Seaman says they risk being left even further behind their rivals is the Spaniard is not given money to spend to try and turn things around.

“Give him some money,” Seaman told football.london . “Give him a transfer window.
There have been two transfer windows that have gone by and he’s had nothing.
“The board need to back him or otherwise we are going to be left further behind.”

Emery is ready to offload some of his big-name stars to free up funds to refresh his squad.
Aaron Ramsey has already agreed to head to Juventus after his contract expired, whilst Mesut Ozil could follow him out of the exit day.
But a lack of Champions League football could also put off potential top targets and the Spaniard is set to need to make some shrewd moves to try and break back into the top four next year.

Ryan Fraser is still wanted from Bournemouth , whilst Argentina-based midfield trio Exequiel Palacios, Nahitan Nandez and Emanuel Reynoso were touted as potential targets earlier this week.
The Gunners are also looking to tighten up their leaky defence, which conceded 51 goals in the Premier League last season.
