Christian Eriksen has two possible destinations in mind if he chooses to leave Spurs this summer, if reports are to be believed.
The Dane is out of contract at the end of next season and is currently stalling on a new deal, with Real reported to be among the major European clubs interested in signing him. Juventus have also been linked.
It has been speculated that Eriksen’s decision whether to stay at the club or not may be influenced by how Spurs end their season, with a Champions League crown still in the offing after a dramatic semi-final win over Ajax.
Now, Spanish outlet Marca have provided an update on Eriksen’s situation in a detailed report about Real Madrid’s summer targets.
They claim that Paul Pogba is the man that Zinedine Zidane has his heart set on, but concerns over his consistency and the fact he carries a €180m price tag means they have had to turn to alternatives.
Eriksen is mentioned as the main option, with Spurs set to demand half of the €250m they asked for last summer.
The Denmark international for his part is open to a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, but he is apparently also aware of Bayern Munich interest and will not close the door on the Bundesliga giants.
