Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money online. If you’re not familiar, affiliate marketing is getting paid to refer other products or services. For example, the above-mentioned site eBates allows you to earn $25 for ever friend you refer.
You can also do this on a larger scale as well, such as by having a website. Michelle Schroeder-Gardner of Making Sense of Cents blog is quite good at this.

Another in-demand work from home job that requires an eye for detail is transcription. The most common type of transcription work is transcribing video. This skill is in high demand thanks to Google, who favors sending their visitors to text over video.
In turn, many businesses are looking for transcriptionists with good grammar skills.

Another low-cost, low-risk business opportunity in demand is catering. You can make meals at home for friends and family at first. Slowly growing your client base.

So far, we’ve discussed earning money on the outside of a primary job. However, the quickest, fastest way to earn more might be simply asking for a raise.

If a raise isn’t going to happen, you can earn more by asking for more hours. If you’re on a salary, ask the boss to take on an extra project, which you’ll work in the evenings for a temporary increase in pay.

Another simple way to earn more money from your primary job is to find a new one that pays more.

I find Craigslist best for the higher value items. However, if there’s a lot of stuff you need to get rid of a garage sale can help. Look to see if there are particular garage sale dates in your city or neighborhood.

Consignment shops are an easy way to sell valuable items. Popular items are furniture and clothing. There’s a great child’s consignment shop nearby, where we do a lot of buying/selling.
# 35 – SELL A SERVICE YOU LOVE, TO FRIENDS THAT CAN BENEFIT
You don’t have to have a website to become an affiliate. Many types of companies offer referral fees. For example, SoFi, a popular option for student loan refinancing gives you $300 for every referral. You don’t need to be a client.

About once a year I’ll head down to a store in my area Half Price Books, which allows me to drop off any books I don’t want anymore for cash. You can also get great money for used textbooks by reselling on Amazon.

A quick search on Craigslist brings up a few local medical studies I can participate in. Obviously, you want to make sure these studies are done in a large medical facility, such as a hospital. In addition, are not invasive. Nonetheless, you can earn good money participating in these studies.

I went back to my High School and become an assistant basketball coach my first year out of college. While I would have done it for free, I did get paid a decent amount for my time.
# 39- SUBSTITUTE TEACH
Another flexible, part-time job is to substitute teach at your local school district. You don’t need a teaching degree to do so, although it may help to obtain a longer-term role.
# 40 – WRITE AN EBOOK
Writing a book doesn’t mean pouring years into a project. There are thousands of 50 or so page books on very niche topics selling well on Amazon. My wife actually did this a few years ago, writing about Eating for Breast Cancer Prevention. We continue to see royalty payments, even though it’s been a few years since she wrote the book.

I unfortunately ran out of rooms to paint in my house. I really enjoy it. Painters are always in high demand. Making it a great, flexible part-time business.

Don’t mind dealing with tenants, collecting rent, and maintaining the building? You can become a part-time property manager. Real estate investors are always looking to handoff these sometimes messy tasks. Pay can be very good as well.
# 43 – WORK AS A 100% COMMISSION SALESPERSON
While many online companies offer referral fees, many local companies do as well. For example, you can become a real estate agent and work with only close friends and family.
# 44 – CAR DETAILING
Like cars? Start a car detailing business, where you detail others cars at their homes.

A great way to earn some quick side-cash, without having to commit long-term is by working an event. Conferences, sporting events, etc…are always looking to hire temporary staff. A quick search on Craigslist brings up a number of opportunities for temporary work close by.

Leaving on a road trip? Not using a garage spot? You can sell your parking spot for good money. Simply post your spot on Craigslist.

If you have a pickup truck or can borrow a friends, you can become a delivery driver with Dolly. We just used the service when buying a coach. If you’re even in the need to move anything, our experience was great.

Selling your art is becoming one of the more creative ways to make money online. One website, Creative Market ,allows you to sell your photos, graphics, and other types of art.

TaskRabit allows you to earn money doing odd jobs for others. Anything from running an errand to mounting a TV.

The site Flexjobs has the largest database of work from home jobs with flexible hours. From temporary, part-time, and full-time, there are thousands of companies looking to hire at home workers.

Search the Internet to find bugs or errors. LeapForce is a company that is hiring for this position.

My wife joined a Mom’s Fitness Boot Camp in the park. It was hosted by a local Mom, who charged a small fee for the class. There are now a number of Franchise type opportunity in this marketplace, however, you can just as easily start one yourself.

Come garbage night, we typically hear the sound of old pickup trucks with metal clanking around in our neighborhood. What these people are searching for is metal being thrown away. Selling scrap metal, which there are local shops all over, can net you some nice cash. Even if you’re just throwing away some old metal lawn chairs.
