Lagos State Government has warned members of the public on the activities of some unscrupulous individuals and groups selling fake loan assessment forms of the State Employment Trust Fund, ETF.


Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Mr. Babatunde Durosinmi-Etti gave the warning on Thursday in Alausa, Ikejain Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, saying that no forms had been made available by the ETF board to access funds.


The commissioner noted that the board had not authorised any agent to sell loan assessement forms on its behalf or in the name of the state government, adding that “members of the public are hereby advised not to purchase any form purportedly issued by the Board or state government in relation to securing loan from ETF.”


Durosinmi-Etti maintained that information about modalities for accessing the loan would be made public by the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund at the appropriate time, while imploring the general public to contact the Executive Secretary, LSETF.
