Job Description
- STRONG Technologies, leader in Satellite receiving Equipment in Africa, is seeking for a highly motivated, customer service focused, self-driven & organized Technical Manager.
- Candidate will play a key role within the Technical Department by leading the Technical Team, providing support to maintain, troubleshoot and repair TV receiving equipment with emphasis upon electronics and system components.
Basic Responsibilities
- Manages the Technical Team
- Trains the Technical Team
- Carries out daily repairs on electronics equipment (Mother board & Power board repairs…)
- Manages the stock of spare parts
- Creates reports on repairs done
- Tests & evaluates new software
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Electronics or related field is required with a BS in Electronics or related field preferred
- 5+ years experience in electronics field or equivalent preferred
- Leadership spirit & management skills
- Knowledgeable in electronic circuits and schematics
- Good soldering skills
- Self-motivated and team player with positive attitude
- Experience with TV Satellite Equipment (TV Receivers) is preferred
- Excellent written and oral communications skills are required
