Producers of the highly anticipated movie, Scorned has been released alongside stunning posters and behind the scenes pictures.
“Scorned” is the story of a rape victim who took her time to plan her revenge against a rapist who completely forgot about the damage he had done to a young innocent girl.
It showcases the psychological damage she went through and the effects the rape still has on her as an adult. And how silence out of fear and shame can either make you or break you.

Starring AMVCA’s Best Actor of the year, Daniel K. Daniel, alongside other prominently talented acts like Christiana Martin, Okey Uzoeshi, Chelsea Eze, Chigul, Funny Bone,and a few others, “Scorned”, successfully depicts the victimized place of the girl child in a myopic society that has through its conscious or unconscious orientation silenced the victims of rape, who thereafter leave a troubled life they cannot share with anyone.

According to the New York Film Academy trained director, Tokunbo Ahmed, “Rape is a topic people don’t really like to talk about. It’s a crime that the victim relives everyday of her life. It doesn’t go away. Some are forced to not speak up and end up making some terrible choices. We hope that this movie will make people understand that you should not be threatened or bullied into not speaking up as a victim. Silence only makes things worse and disrupt the victim’s life. And the culprit would go on with his life like nothing ever happened”.
