Nigeria’s youngster Victor Osimhen has continued to show his class as he led the Flying Eagles in the onslaught of Sia One Academy at the Fifa Goal Project in Abuja, today April 16, as Nigeria continue to intensify preparations ahead of the 2017 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualifying series against Burundi.

The head coach of the Nigeria U-20 boys Emmanuel Amuneke earlier called for a three-day open screening for new players ahead of the team’s camping for a 2017 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Burundi.

The team in a tune-up match defeated Samson Siasia’s local club 4 – 1 as the national team dominated the game from start to finish.
Fifa U-17 World Cup 10-goal-banger Victor Osimhen opened the scoring in the 10th minute when he curled the ball to the far corner of the post to put Amuneke’s men ahead.
Kelechi Nwakali converted from the spot in the 45th minute to ensure both teams went into the break 2 – 0.
An own-goal in the 62nd minute put the score line at 3 – 0. Although Sia One Academy later got a consolation, the game eventually ended 4 – 1 in favour of the Flying Eagles.
The Flying Eagles will face Burundi in the 2017 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualifying series away in Bujumbura later in May.
