Is Prophet Mboro in trouble with a South African Commission over the alleged "sale of heavenly photos

Prophet Mboro who claimed he ascended to heaven on Easter Sunday and took selfies, even with angels, could face fraud charges, Daily Sun SA reports. The Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities said they would lay charges of fraud against him if rumours that his church was selling the alleged selfies proved to be true.

Social media sites were abuzz over the weekend after the heavenly allegations which further claimed that the pastor took the selfies. A man known only as Mr Nkuna, claiming to be Mboro’s spokesman, reportedly said the pictures were on sale for R5 000.

“We encourage people to read the Bible for themselves, and not rely on others to interpret it for them!” said commission chairwoman Thoko Mkhwanazi-Xaluva.

“We believe Mboro is just looking for ways to extort money from people. We know he never went to heaven. He is deceiving people, We’re going to summon him to explain to us whether he said those things or if it’s a joke.” he concluded
