Headquarters 7 Division Nigerian Army Operation LAFIYA DOLE on Friday warned residents of Maiduguri, Borno state against the violation of its 9:00 pm to 6:00 am curfew imposed on the capital city.


The army, in a statement by Colonel Mustapha Anka, Deputy Director, its Deputy Director, Public Relations therefore said violation of the curfew threatens the relative peace being enjoyed in Maiduguri town because despite the successes recorded against Boko Haram Insurgents across the state, the fight against insurgency is not yet over.


The army added that Borno State Government and Headquarters Theatre Command will at the appropriate time review the curfew in line with prevailing security situation across the state.


The army therefore warned that anyone found flaunting the orders will be arrested and prosecuted
