Here is a blogger’s experience that could help you with your Adsense account approval. Read below in his words…
Do you know it’s possible for Google Adsense to turn you down and later approve your website. It can be a blog or a wapka site. I’ll tell you about my own experience on codeinme.com here and how I later got approved after being rejected AUTOMATICALLY.
Applying for Adsense first hand
First of all, I made sure I had good relevant posts. With good pictures most of which were not downloaded from the Web.
Then, I got a fast theme for my blog. The themes is smartlite. Also, I made sure to do some basic seo. Including, making long but educative posts.
That’s basically all I did. Then, I applied for adsense at adsense.google.com
Initial approval by Google Adsense and Codes Installation
It took some time for my application to pass the first stage of the approval. In less than a day, they gave me access to my adsense dashboard.
Then I created the adsense ads codes and added them to CIM with the help of a plugin calledHeaders and Footers. I added the adsense codes in different locations including top and bottom of CIM.
Adsense account rejected
I then waited. After about 4-6 days, I got a message from adsense that my account has been rejected. That didn’t sound good at all. Because I did all I knew was necessary yet no approval. I typically forgot about adsense for a while.
Finally getting approved by Google Adsense for my Nigerian blog
Adsense approved
Not until this morning when I wanted to check my mail that I noticed one from adsense. I was keen to know what it’s all about. I opened the mail and to my amazement, my account has been approved! Also the codes has been running since I never removed them from my site.
I quickly headed to adsense dashboard to view my earnings and it responded positively. Adsense has recorded a click and some cents in one of those days! This will change everything. You can see the ads running on this blog.
Advice to Nigerian bloggers who have been rejected by adsense
So, this is my advice to Nigerians who have been rejected by adsense.
Don’t remove adsense testing adverts from your blog. They’re yellow in color. Even if Google Adsense rejects your request, leave them in place. Possibly, after a while, adsense will revisit your account and possibly approve it.
