Video: That awkward moment when Stacy Dash went on stage and the whole place got quiet

Stacy Dash has received a lot of backlash from the African American community for not supporting black people enough. Oscar’s host Chris Rock invited her on stage as New Academy Director of diversity because of the white Oscar hashtag. When she got on stage, the whole place was quiet, no one clapped for her…it was just awkward. Watch the video above.
