Plane goes missing in Nepal with 21 on board

Kathmandu (AFP) – A passenger plane went missing in a mountainous area of Nepal early on Wednesday with 21 people on board, the airline said.

“A plane that took off from Pokhara for Jomsom this morning is out of contact,” Tara Air spokesman Bhim Raj Rai told AFP, adding there were 18 passengers and three crew on board.
