World footballer of the Year, Lionel Messi inspired Barcelona to a 2-0 win against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in their Round of 16 first-leg clash.
Barcelona had most of the possession in the first half but no clear cut chances to score until the second half when diminutive Argentine forward, Messi scored twice.
