Chief Inengite Nitabai, a prominent chief in Otuoke, Bayelsa State and foster father of former president Goodluck Jonathan has been kidnapped.
According to available information that Nitabai was kidnapped in the early at about 3 am in Otuoke in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa on Wednesday by unidentified gunmen.
This is not the first time Nitabai has been kidnapped. Two years ago he was kidnapped by unidentified gunmen and later released after ransom was paid.
When Nitabai was first kidnapped on Sunday, 23 February, 2014, the special anti-kidnapping squad of the Department of State Security Service (DSS) and its counterpart at the DSS Bayelsa Command were able to obtain useful information from the arrested suspects, which led to his rescue after ransom was paid.
