Job description

A South African based company, wholesaler/distributor of fruit and vegetable products, has Trainee management opportunities for candidates who have: a relevant tertiary qualification, some commercial work experience with traceable references and a general level of computer competence.

Successful candidates must also be fluent in English, have a valid drivers’ licence and Passport. Experience and product knowledge of fresh produce will be a definite advantage.

Learn and understand the daily processes associated with picking, packing, and shipping orders

Learn and understand the technology used in the Distribution Center that supports the needs of the business

Learn and understand the basic management skills, including talent management, that are required to perform effectively in the role

Lead special projects and provide work direction and supervision over the associates involved in the project.

Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the Management Trainees job responsibilities.
