Governor Nyesom Wike will reclaim his mandate even if the Supreme Court orders for a rerun election in the state.

This confidence was expressed by Mrs Onimin Jacks, Commissioner for Agriculture during an end of year Thanksgiving giving service of Akuku Toru chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Jacks said that PDP in Rivers state will win again and again if the national and state assembly elections are conducted in the state.

Jacks was speaking at the Black Dukes Square in Abonnema  in Akuku Toru Local Government Area.

Jacks who exuded so much confidence told members of the party in the area that there was no need to pannick over the outcome of the Appeal Court judgement which ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC, to conduct a fresh election in the entire Senatorial Districts in Rivers State.

“I want to assure you all that there is no cause for alarm over the outcome of the Appeal Court verdict, this time the PDP will win the election and we will do it over and over again”.

Caretaker committee chairman of the LGA, Hon. Rowland Sekibo, asked the people to unite and ensure the party wins the upcoming rerun election in the area.
