Come Sunday, 29 November, there will be the rare spectacle of Nigeria’s biggest DJs showing off their skills under one roof.
Fans will see the best DJs in Nigeria including DJ Neptune, DJ Xclusive and DJ Spinall put it down in one frantic night of music and comedy at the Tyme Out With Tee-A Lagos Concert: Dance Party Edition.
Also billed to perform on the wheels of steel at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos venue of the gig are DJ Big N and DJ Lammy, as well as several top music artistes. They include Iyanya, Sean Tizzle, Sammie Okposo and Naija Ninjas boss, Sound Sultan.
There will also be performances by comedians Basketmouth, MC Abbey, Seyi Law, Lepacious Bose, Eddie Kadi and Princess, in addition to interludes by Big Little, Seven, Bow Joint and Omini.
Speaking about the upcoming show, comedian and host, Tee-A said he decided to do something special this year and take things out of the ordinary by paying a special tribute to the DJs.
“This edition of the concert is all about the DJs, which is why it is called the Dance Party Edition. We thought it would be nice to recognize and appreciate them for their craft and artistry, and I am sure the audience is going to appreciate what the DJs have in store for them,” Tee A said.
Supported by Africa Magic, ID Africa and The Beat 99.9 FM, the comedy concert series is a regular end-of-year highlight in Lagos, Abuja and London with past headliners including entertainment icons 2face Idibia, Davido, King Sunny Ade, D’Banj, Wizkid, Ice Prince, Basketmouth and Bovi.
