The prestigous Heineken Lagos Fashon and Design Week is officially over.It’s been an amazing 4 days.
The LFDW at 5 Awards was given to a member of the Fashion Focus alum, who are making waves in fashion and retailing. The big winners were announced a few minutes before the end of the event, just after the Lanre DaSilva-Ajayi showcase.

The winners were announced by the LFDW team including Ijeoma Ndekwu, Zara Okpara, Wadami Amolegbe, Ronkeand Oyinkan who presented the designers and model with their awards mentioning their remarkable roles in the Nigeria fashion industry over the years.

Womenswear Designer of the Year – Amaka Osakwe of Maki Oh
Menswear Designer of the Year – Ohimai Atafo of Mai Atafo Inspired
Outstanding Emerging Designer of the Year – Ejiro Amos Tafiri of Ejiro Amos Tafiri
Ejiro was presented the award, as well as the sum of 1 Million Naira as well as the award.
Accessories Designer of the Year – Zainab Ashadu of Zashadu
Outstanding Model of the Year – Kelvin Godson
Kelvin received a cash prize of Five Hundred Thousand Naira as well as the award!
The Heineken Lagos fashion and Design Week 2015 came to a close on the 31st October with Lanre Da Silva Ajayi closing the show.
