1. Audu Abubakar Confirmed Dead, Buried Amid Tears In Kogi (PHOTOS)


The death of Abubakar Audu, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in last week’s election, has been confirmed. He was buried today in his hometown in Igala land.

A lady on twitter, @sugabelly, has tagged the deceased Kogi state governor, Audu Abubakar, and his children, monsters. In a series of tweets which she made available to a lawyer on Twitter, @echecrates, she narrated how she was allegedly raped by the family of the late APC gubernatorial candidate in Kogi state.


3. Okorocha Speaks Out On Audu’s Death


Some sources suggest that Audu was actually poisoned. He was rushed to the hospital and constantly vomiting blood which he then passed out and died. Rochas Okorocha, the governor of Imo state, claimed the national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is among others who killed the Kogi state governorship candidate.

Buhari said the news of the death of Audu Abubakar made him feel devastated. The president who received the news in shock was quoted as saying: “We are obviously devastated at the loss. He was immensely courageous.”

After Audu’s running mate, Abiodun Faleke, and some other dignitaries arrived at the venue of the burial, Faleke broke down in tears mourning Audu’s death. A group of very young boys have also entered the venue, shouting “they have killed our son.”
