Fans of fast rising singer Adekunle Gold are lamenting the over the YBNL act.
His fans who confirm they love his songs despite it being slow tempo kind of music in a country where fast music sells said the 2015 All African Music Awards (AFRIMA), Revelation of the year award winner needs to up his stagecraft.
They are complaining that if there is anything the Olamide Baddo boy needs to learn from his record label boss, it is stagecraft as his stage performances have been tagged dry.

One of his fans who sat behind Naij.com correspondent during AFRIMA awards who was full of high expectation from the new singer was disappointed first with his choice of song he performed at the event. She said: “Who cares about Sade, it is not as danceable as Orente.”
This fan alongside other people was screaming Orente but alas, Gold left the stage after a dry performance of Sade.
Unlike the complaints about Adekunle Gold’s dry performance, no other YBNL artist has such a commendation from fans. Lil Kesh, Olamide are known to own the stage while performing and of course they carry their audience along.
Meanwhile, Olamide once claimed that he does not hold unto artists for too long. He stated that YBNL is not a music label but that YBNL only signs artistes on a two-year deal.
According to him, YBNL is a movement where young artistes are given platform to success and then move on with their careers elsewhere.
Adekunle Gold fans are urging him to grab the required expertise that will make him last longer in the Nigerian music industry from his label.
