Arsenal 3 – 0 Dinamo Zagreb: Lost to Zagreb and Arsenal miss out on a last 16 champions league place for the first time since 1999. Ozil (one goal) and Sanchez (two goals) however had other ideas and kept the Gunners hopes alive thanks in small part to Bayern Munich’s victory over Olympiakos. The mission is to defeat Olympiakos in the last group game to be played in Greece.

Maccabi Tel Aviv 0 – 4 Chelsea: Willian scored another freekick (he is really good at those) as Chelsea recorded a routine and morale boosting win over bottom of the group Maccabi. Chelsea were sometimes too good and fans would wonder why they cannot produce this sort of performance week in, week out. Jose Mourinho looked a relieved man on the touchlines by the way.
