Bayern Munich winger Frank Ribery is dragging American cable broadcaster to court over the use of one of his images in cryotheraphy.

Goal.com reports that CNN used an image of Ribery on twitter. The network posted a story of a woman who died while undergoing treatment, and used a photograph of the French winger in a similar cryotherapy chamber.
The 32 year old’s lawyer has now confirmed the attacker and his family have asked him to press charges and seek damages of $1.5 million against the news network for using his photograph without permission.

The lawyer, Carlo Alberto Busa told RMC: “Mr Franck Ribery never gave his authorisation and his consent for the use of this picture to this publication.”
“Ribery and his family instructed me to go to French court to seek damages of at least $1.5 million.”
Ribery is recovering from an ankle injury that has kept him out of action since the Champions League clash with Shakhtar Donetsk in March.
