Kim Zolciak: Quitting Dancing With the Stars Following Stroke

Yesterday, we reported that Kim Zolciak suffered a mini stroke that temporarily left her numb and unable to speak.

Today, we learned that Zolciak is still hospitalized despite her initial claim that she planned to return home last night.

Now, Radar Online has confirmed the inevitable, reporting that Kim has quit Dancing With the Stars in order to focus on her health and recovery.

A source tells Radar that Zolciak made the decision after consulting with doctors and being told that returning to strenuous physical activity so soon after a major health crisis could put her in danger.

Kim has been regularly updating her fans via Instagram (she posted the pic of herself and husband Kroy Biermann this morning), but she has yet to reveal that she won"t be returning to DWTS.

Her most recent update indicates that she"s in stable condition, but remains uncertain of when she"ll be released from the hospital"

"Going in for one more procedure, things are looking up! don"t let the oxygen scare you its just protocol.

Reps for Zolciak have declined to comment on her rumored departure from the show.
