Justin Bieber may be featured in the latest issue of Complex.
But the singer opens up to the magazine about Selena Gomez and makes it sound as if his feelings for his fellow singer were very simple at one point.
"We were so in love. Nothing else mattered," Bieber says of Gomez.

Both Bieber and Gomez have new albums on the way and Selena has been speaking at length about Justin of late as well.
Bieber goes on to say that living with someone at the age of 18 was "too much" at the time, adding:
"When stuff would happen, I would lose my freakin" mind, and she would lose her mind, and we would fight so hard because we were so invested in each other.
"Love is a choice. Love is not a feeling. People have made it seem in movies that it"s this fairy tale."
Love is a choice? That"s an odd thing for Bieber to say.
But not as odd as Bieber defending an embarrassing incident from the past.
"I think the pissing in the bucket wasn"t as big as people made it seem," he says, referring to the July 2013 incident. "Just because, dude, think about it.
"Imagine, you hear that f--king Ozzy Osbourne pisses backstage. Immediately,"Oh, he"s a freaking rock star!" As soon as I do it, ‘He"s being a brat.""
Of course, Bieber didn"t piss backstage. He pissed in the bucket of a restaurant, though he claims someone there told him it was okay.
As for Bieber"s drunk driving arrest in January of last year?
"The police, they just wanted press; they wanted attention. I never was speeding; I never was drag racing…
"The cop supposedly wanted to be famous for arresting celebrities, and someone had heard him say that prior to [my arrest]... I wasn"t drinking. I blew the thing and I had 0.01. I might have had a beer earlier in the day or something."
In conclusion, Justin says he is relying on religion to turn his life around, but that doesn"t mean he"ll always have plans on Sunday morning.
"You don"t need to go to church to be a Christian," he says. "If you go to Taco Bell, that doesn"t make you a taco."
